Acceptable Use Policy

Effective 12 September 2026. This is part of the Terms of Service.

You may not use MelaPlatform to:

Store or process full payment-card numbers, bank account numbers, SSNs, or other government IDs.
Collect personal information from children under 13, or student education records without a lawful basis.
Store protected health information unless you have a signed BAA and a host that supports it. This instance does not.
Send unsolicited commercial email except as allowed by CAN-SPAM and applicable state law. You are the sender of any message your mail client transmits.
Infringe copyright or trademark; traffic in stolen data; harass, stalk, or threaten anyone.
Probe, overload, or break the host or other tenants.
Resell seats or white-label the software without a written reseller agreement.

Violations can end the license without refund except where the law requires otherwise.
